Job Description: The Front-End Developer position will perform duties related to the design, build, test and deployment of packaged and custom software solutions in support of the company's applications. The position will perform troubleshooting, support of existing applications, build requested custom applications, data analysis, recommend solutions and provide fixes to technical issues encountered by users of the team’s applications. This individual will also work with vendors and coordinate vendor application support. There will be an on-call 24x7 rotating shift support requirement. Education Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment. (preferred) Experience The ideal candidate will: -Possess skills in C#, HTML, Angular, CSS, python, MVC, Azure DevOps -Write high quality code that is robust and easy to maintain. -Have knowledge and experience with web services design and implementation. -Build flexible systems choosing simple, straightforward solutions over more complex ones. -Have an understanding of relational databases, SQL, and Oracle. -Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. -Have experience with iterative and agile development methodologies (both Scrum and Kanban). -Have experience in compiling comprehensive and accurate documentation to represent application design and code. -Have strong customer focus and communication skills. -Have comfortability coordinating and liaising with vendors.

You will work within a team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for missile warning. Candidates will develop and implement model-based systems engineering processes in support of the Agile software development program. SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in an environment where they can solve challenging engineering problems in support of critical national security objectives.  Responsibilities   Implementing systems engineering processes aligned with IEEE 15288.   Designing and modeling architectures for data processing systems.   Developing artifacts using Model Based Systems Engineering.   Mentoring other SciTec staff in systems engineering processes and methodologies.   Communicating professionally and effectively between customer representatives, program managers, software developers, and other members of the systems engineering team.   Other duties as assigned.  Requirements A bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering (including systems engineering), or computer science Minimum 4 years of professional experience in engineering, computer science, remote sensing, aerospace, or defense  Minimum 2 years of professional experience specifically in systems engineering Two (2) years of experience specifically with MBSE and modeling Two (2) years of experience developing system/software requirements  Basic familiarity with coding in Python  Good verbal and written communication skills  Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred   Domain experience with remote sensor systems or software architecture, especially experience with OPIR sensor processing Experience supporting systems engineering programs in the defense and aerospace fields Experience supporting prototypes transformation into production level engineering solutions Additional professional experience in systems engineering beyond 2 years Familiarity with the Cameo family of tools, specifically Cameo Systems Modeler Experience with Agile software development methods   Demonstrated experience in program management and project leadership   Familiarity with the Earned Value Management System Graduate degrees or coursework in Systems Engineering or related fields   An active SECRET DoD security clearance or higher   *Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.
