Responsibilities Install and configure low voltage systems including data cables, telecommunication systems, and security systems. Conduct thorough testing of systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications. Perform routine maintenance on existing installations to ensure reliability and longevity. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to low voltage systems promptly and efficiently. Document all installation processes, service records, and maintenance activities accurately. Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete projects on time and within budget. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in low voltage systems and recommend improvements. Requirements Proven experience working as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the IT and Services sector. In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems and protocols, including cabling standards. Familiarity with tools and techniques related to low voltage installation and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members effectively. Certifications in low voltage or related fields, such as BICSI or NICET, are preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with minimal supervision.
