Our client is a Y Combinator-backed startup building the next-generation AI assistant to redefine personal productivity. With over $1M in revenue and 60% monthly growth, they are a high-momentum company automating tasks like calendars, emails, and meeting prep for global consumers. This is a rare chance to join a small, elite founding team and build AI automation tools that will replace traditional workflows and push the frontier of AI in everyday life. Our client is seeking a Founding Engineer to be one of their first three employees. This role offers the unique chance to have a significant impact from day one, with a focus on end-to-end ownership. You will be instrumental in building the full-stack features that will be used by millions of people. You will be responsible for: Owning product features from conception through to deployment. Working directly with the founders on technical strategy and architecture. Scaling infrastructure to support massive growth as the company approaches its Series A funding round. Building a full-stack product from the ground up, utilizing a modern tech stack. Requirements We are looking for a relentless builder with an entrepreneurial mindset who is excited about AI agents and consumer products. Must-Haves: 3+ years of experience building full-stack web applications from scratch, with a strong portfolio of projects. Strong skills in a modern full-stack environment (their tech stack includes Python FastAPI, Next.js, React Native, and SwiftUI). An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take ownership in an early-stage environment. Willingness to work in-person, five days a week, at their San Francisco office or to relocate. Bonus Points: Experience at a top-tier, high-growth startup (e.g., Scale AI, Ramp, Stripe). UI/UX and design expertise. Mobile development experience (React Native or SwiftUI). Experience founding or co-founding a startup.
