Seeking a General Manager who wants to help build from the ground up. Low salary, but equity shares for the right person to help guide the development. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a track record of driving both customer satisfaction and business performance. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality food and service, managing staff, maintaining cost controls, and upholding brand standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff, fostering a positive team environment Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and product quality Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely ordering Maintain budgets and optimize profits by controlling costs and increasing sales Create and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business decisions Schedule staff and manage labor costs in line with business needs Report regularly to ownership or regional management on performance and challenges Qualifications: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or General Manager Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid understanding of restaurant finances, budgeting, and P&L statements Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Requirements Must be able to show they can maintain labor margins within schedules. Must have a stong understanding of service standards and be able to train staff to execute standards. Must have knowledge of wine and spirits and understand how to develop wine lists and a bar program. Must have understanding of cashflow and financial acumen. Must have ability to work as needed and put the job towards the top of priority list. Must have great written and verbal communication skills and be able to atract guests. Must be able to figure out tech on their own. Must have a strong understanding of POS systems and how to work and navigate them. Must be able to recognize problems and find solutions and execute them. Benefits This is a low paying salary, however equity is available for someone who wants to own part of a business and help develop a concept into a nationally known concept. current owners have over 30 years combined working in restaurants all over the world, but need another partner who can help guide, stere, develop the day to day within the restaurant.
