Family owned and operated; the Snell family began serving the Dallas community in 1973. The Service Technician creates an exceptional customer experience while creating customer loyalty. The Service Technician will also be responsible for the diagnostics and repairs of our customers and dealerships vehicles. As the Service Technician your role will include but not be limited to the following: Reviews repair orders identify customer concerns and needed repairs Clocks on and off time on every line of repair order Checks technical service bulletins that may apply to customer concern Follows repair escalation process Adheres to all factory warranty requirements including time punches, accurate documentation, parts returns. Follows manufacturer repair steps and processes in Topix including all required parts for repair Confirms all repairs once completed Keeps the facility clean and equipment in good working order. Maintains cleanliness of vehicles during repair process Maintains a tool collection that includes all necessary non Land Rover supplied special tools Keeps a clean work area including bay, toolbox and surrounding area Requirements Must be able to operate a vehicle Know and understand the dealership computer systems Attend company and factory training Stay current with manufacturer warranty requirements Knows and understands the Snell Privacy and Information Security Policies and adhere to the requirements. Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and co-workers. Ability to answer customers’ technical questions regarding vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs. Knowledge of automotive systems in general Ability to review service orders and inspect the vehicle for necessary repairs Knowledge of new models and product improvements, based on technical service bulletins, etc. Knowledge of warranty guidelines and ability to relate them to warranty service repair orders.
