Provides general support to the Construction Management Team and community by assisting with tasks, assignments, and projects relating to the construction, customer service, quality control, and safety processes.  RESPONSIBILITIES  Acquire and apply the appropriate knowledge of Perry Homes construction procedures regarding the process from sheetrock tape and float to home completion, while under management supervision.  Create and implement recommendations concerning best solution for any issues that may arise with building inspectors, contractors, customers, or suppliers.  From time to time must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints.  Assist in planning and coordinating warranty service as stated by company policy.  Acquire applicable knowledge in how to build and maintain relationships with homeowners, trades, and sales staff.  Assists in inspecting all warranty to ensure that the work meets company standards.  Under the supervision of management, inspect all materials and workmanship during installation and upon completion to ensure quality standards.  Assist in maintaining assigned inventory homes and tasks in a high state of quality.  Acquire applicable knowledge in monitoring compliance with the subdivision safety program and reporting violations to the Project Manager.  Ensure independent contractors are maintaining appropriate safety standards.  Assist Construction Management Team in maintaining subdivision safety records.  JOB COMPETENCIES  Communication/Building Relationships  Initiative  Customer/Client Focus  Flexibility  Organizational Skills  Time Management    QUALIFICATIONS  High School Diploma and current enrollment in College required.  Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.     WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?  You must be able to work at least 40 hours a week. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and cut horizontal and vertical frozen sections using the Mohs technique. Maintain and operate histology laboratory equipment, including the cryostat. Process, embed, and stain tissue specimens accurately following established protocol. Map and analyze tissue specimens as outlined in the applicable CLIA guidelines. Prepare slides for review by the surgeon, ensuring the highest quality for diagnosis. Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the histological processing. Accurately document all processes and results in the Mohs database and other required logbooks. Ensure proper tissue disposal and adhere to safety protocols as mandated by OSHA and CLIA. Collaborate effectively with surgical and clinical staff to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Participate in internal quality assurance programs and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the laboratory and clinical operations. Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent under CLIA guidelines for high complexity testing. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mohs histotechnology is required. Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Histotechnologist (HTL) is preferred. Monitor patient vitals and post-operative recovery, providing immediate care and support as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing education regarding the procedure and post-operative care. Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold the practice's standards of care. Participate in patient education, explaining the significance of skin health and skin cancer prevention. Assist in general dermatology procedures as needed within the clinic.
