Direct Care Worker

Eminence Home Care is currently looking for compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) who are eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As a Direct Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing essential support and care to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and helping clients achieve their personal care goals. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance. Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring clients receive proper nutrition. Engage clients in conversation and activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes. Build trusting relationships with clients and support their independence. Requirements Previous experience in home care or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and families. A passion for caregiving and a desire to improve clients’ quality of life. Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. Must pass background checks and any required certifications.
