Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Chemical Operator (Night Shift) Overview: A leading manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Chemical Operator for the night shift. This role is central to the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment, requiring a meticulous individual who excels at following procedures, maintaining quality standards, and upholding our commitment to safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor plant systems, including feeds, temperatures, and pressures. Sample, test, and record process streams to ensure product quality. Accurately weigh and handle raw materials; monitor inventory levels. Load finished products into various containers (bulk tankers, totes, drums). Maintain strict housekeeping standards and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Accurately input data into the ERP system and complete all required logs and forms. Follow all safety procedures and support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and PSM standards. Assist with maintenance preparations and provide suggestions for operational improvements. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A community college certificate in a related field is strongly preferred. Experiences: 1–5 years of experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment. A certificate in Chemical Plant Technician training may be substituted for experience. Proven experience with hazardous materials handling and emergency response protocols. Other: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Full professional English proficiency (both written and verbal). Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with personnel at all levels. Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overtime. We are helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a VH6 Associate to support daily fleet operations at its test sites in the Austin area. In this role, you will be ultimately responsible for the on-time vehicle readiness for the suite of tests and service operations scheduled during your shift on its VH6 platform and support L3 vehicles when possible.
