Your role will not only emphasize clinical skills but will also focus on building meaningful relationships with patients as they embark on their wellness journeys. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting medical histories. Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available. Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Schedule appointments and manage communication within the office. Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; CMA or RMA certification is preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is required. Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures relevant to dermatology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in fast-paced settings. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer software applications.
