Job description Facilities Maintenance Tech (Certified Electrician) Key Responsibilities: · Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards. · Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations. · Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components, including lighting, wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and electrical panels. · Respond to emergency electrical issues and perform urgent repairs to ensure safety and operational continuity. · Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and report findings, recommending improvements or repairs when necessary. · Collaborate with facility management to implement energy-saving initiatives and ensure optimal performance of electrical systems. · Install and test new electrical systems, equipment, and machinery as required by facility needs. · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations to ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local guidelines. · Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities in accordance with company policies. · Assist with the maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and other facility systems when necessary.
