All Star Labor and Staffing is currently looking for farm labor employees to work for a Egg Farm located in the Coburg, Or area. These positions are temp-to-hire positions and starting ASAP. Payrate: $15.05an Hr Schedule: 8:00 am till 4:30 pm with ½ hour lunch at 12:00 with two 15-minute breaks not seasonal work Scheduled workdays – 6 days working then 2 days off 6 days working days than 2 days off etc. Job Summary: The Packer is responsible for maintaining the flow of incoming egg production by palletizing eggs flats safely and securely to ensure safe loading into semi-trailer for their transportation. After training has been completed the job is maintained independently but you also will have a coworker somewhere in the hen house with you at all times incase you are needing help. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for palletizing egg flats. Keeping a steady pace on packaging line. Inspect that there are no missing eggs and remove broken or leaking eggs. Place stacks of loaded egg flats onto pallet. Move palletized flats from the lift and replace pallets using a pallet jack. Help others where needed. Clean and sanitize work area before end of each day (including shoveling chicken waist as well as discarding chickens that have passed away) Clean and maintain the packing floor area. Clean and wipe down the machines and conveyor. Empty shell collection trays. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Able to stand for long period of time. Able to bend, lift and twist on different surfaces, including concrete.
