Experienced Pet Groomer Location: Colorado Dog Academy Do you love creating a positive grooming experience for pets while delivering exceptional results? Colorado Dog Academy is looking for a skilled and passionate part-time groomer to join our busy, supportive, and fun-loving team. We are booked out 6–8 weeks in advance, so you’ll always have a full schedule available — and the flexibility to groom as many or as few dogs per day as you’re comfortable with. Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. -Saturdays as needed (flexibility to cover shifts for fellow groomers when needed, as they will for you). Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience. • Proficient in all breed-standard cuts, hand scissoring, de-shedding, and dematting. • Skilled in nail trimming/grinding, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, and sanitary trims. • Ability to safely handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and coat conditions. • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. • Must have own grooming tools in good working condition. • Team-oriented attitude and reliability. • References required. Requirements EDUCATION Requires BS or BA in a Hard Scientific Field EXPERIENCE 1+ years of general laboratory. Knowledge of laboratory terminology a plus. 1+ year of professional laboratory experience required (CLIA/CAP environment preferred) SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES Work in a repetitive environment at a fast pace Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to be a team player as well as work independently Must be dependable and reliable Must have the ability to establish effective working relationships with peers and managers Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
