Diversity and inclusion are the only paths that allow forward progress, and our success as a company stems from that philosophy.  ABOUT THE ROLE  Under the general supervision of the management, but reporting directly to the maintenance supervisor, the technician is the primary staff person responsible for repairs and maintenance of the work equipment and appliances in both the common areas of the condominium and in the individual owner units, to the end that the need for outside service people is minimized and the residents needs are better served and with minimum delay. The technician's duties also extend to being the backup to the maintenance supervisor in the operation, repairs, and maintenance of the heating and air conditioning equipment of the building. Requirements Specific Requirements Entry-level maintenance skills such as: Light plumbing (unclogging drains, replacing faucets or toilet flappers) Basic electrical work (changing light bulbs) Drywall patching and painting Basic carpentry (repairing door hinges, using a drill) HVAC filter replacement Lock and doorknob repair/replacement  Performing inspections (checking fire extinguishers, smoke detectors) Cleaning and maintaining common areas or equipment Key Requirements  Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies  Reliable attendance and communication  Teamwork Customer service oriented  Additional requirements Move-in/Move-Out Support Prepare the building for resident move-ins and move-outs, including installing elevator padding and ensuring hallways are clear and accessible.  Assist in directing movers and maintaining order during large deliveries or transitions.  Operate and monitor freight elevator as needed during move-related activities. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Greet, direct, and escort contractors and vendors to and from appropriate work areas within the building.  Operate the freight elevator during vendor visits to ensure safe and efficient movement. POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the operations leadership, Service Technicians will be held to a high standard of service. ICEE has a commitment to success: to our customers, partners, and team members. Service Technicians are required to service all ICEE and restaurant equipment including Frozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, juice dispensers, etc. Service Technicians will work with minimal supervision and are required to attend weekly meetings held in their Service Center. Team members in this role are provided with a vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA). • Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed. Checks quality of all products i.e.: checking syrup levels, changing out flavors, cleaning around machines, etc. • Maintains inventory and maintenance on equipment such as: parts, tools, and the company vehicle. • Reviews service orders and service performed with the respective supervisor. Keeps his/her supervisor informed of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities. • Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion. • Clearly communicates with both customers and co-workers. • Performs assigned general warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product. • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
