Vocalist Wanted for Soul/Blues/Funk Band (Seattle, Ballard) Lead and Backing Vocalist Wanted Are you a lead or backing vocalist (vocal range female alto) with experience in an organized gospel choir or vocal ensemble? Our band, which focuses on classic soul, blues, swing, and funk, is looking for another vocalist to join our ensemble. We are looking to add a third vocalist to our existing duo to expand our sound and cover more performance opportunities. Our band features a full four-piece horn section, a rhythm section, and vocalists. We are all dedicated to enjoying ourselves, playing great music, and building our skills together. We're looking for someone talented and open to learning both new and old material in a fun, collaborative environment. Rehearsals and Gigs We rehearse twice a month on Thursdays in the Ballard area and typically book about one paid gig a month. We've played a wide range of venues, from large events like the Bite of Seattle and Seattle Center NYE to more intimate settings like Peddler Brewing Co. and Third Place Commons. We’re planning on holding auditions in early September with the first gig on December 13th. We all play for the love of music and sharing positive energy.
