I lay down a solid beat and believe in playing what's right for the song. I'd prefer a band that's somewhat established (members, songs) rather than starting something from scratch. There's three main things I'm looking for in a band: 1) Band is political/anti-fascist with its songs. Think, a protest set to music. To me this is more important than how the band sounds. 2) That I vibe with the other members. I want to spend my time with like-minded souls whose company I enjoy. No drama or attitudes. 3) The schedule. I can practice once a week, and would generally prefer to play no more than a show a month. I have a pretty full schedule and responsibilities outside music. If you're looking to be rocking out all the time, I'm probably not the guy. Here's my most recent project that I played drums with. Your band doesn't have to sound anything like this. I like heavy music, but I also like lots of other stuff. I don't play double-bass. I don't necessarily need to "join your band," but I could fill in when needed. But if things click, we'll see where it goes. https://sandkrawler.bandcamp.com/album/sandkrawler?search_item_id%3D2490281847%26search_item_type%3Da%26search_match_part%3D%253F%26search_page_id%3D4681784584%26search_page_no%3D0%26search_rank%3D1= If interested, please respond with a sample of your music.
