As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care, support, and assistance in activities of daily living to our Individuals. As a floating caregiver you will be able to work in all of our group homes across Pierre and provide support to all of our individuals. Responsibilities: Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with supported individuals Assist with medication management and administration, as needed Support individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding Escort supported individuals to appointments and accompany them on outings Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry Requirements Experience working with individuals of varying needs and diagnoses (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Good communication and interpersonal skills Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities or health challenges Ability to follow directions and work independently Flexible availability, including weekends, and holidays Ability to work day shift or overnight shift Benefits 3 or 4 day work week to fit your lifestyle! Pay Complex Behavioral homes pay starts at $18.00/hour on weekdays and $27.00/hour on the weekends! Traditional homes pay starts at $16.50/hour on the weekdays and $24.75/hour on the weekends! Daily pay available!
