The Physician Billing Specialist handles claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and AR resolution for assigned physician service lines. Key Responsibilities: Review and process claims for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements. Post and reconcile remittances. Research and resolve claim denials. Maintain compliance with CMS, state, and payer-specific billing guidelines. Provide feedback to improve documentation and coding accuracy. Requirements Qualifications: Education: High school diploma Certification: CPC or equivalent billing/coding certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in physician billing for specialties such as radiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, or mental health.
