We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager within our healthcare facilities. In this leadership role, you will oversee the operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards. Pay Rate Range: $48 to $55 per hour Pay Schedule: Weekly, every Thursday Pay Period: Sunday through Saturday Opening: (1) Full-Time - 7am-3pm #IND1 Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with health regulations. Supervise and provide guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Conduct regular assessments of patient care practices and implement measures to improve patient outcomes. Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring proper documentation and continuity of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans. Address patient and family concerns, providing support and education regarding care processes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and oversee compliance with safety standards and protocols. Mentor and train nursing staff, fostering professional development and teamwork. Requirements Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience. Previous leadership or management experience in a nursing or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
