Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist to provide specialized dental care to children in a Family Health Center in Arverne, Queens, NY. This is a full-time position with a unique and desirable 3-day work week schedule. Why Join Us? Licensure: Active New York State Dental License (Required). Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible. Others: Must have an active Medicaid and Medicare number (NPI) Technical Skills: Proficiency in all aspects of pediatric dentistry and behavior management techniques. Soft Skills: Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills to work with children and parents. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Diagnose and treat dental diseases and developmental issues in children. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care. Manage patient behavior to create a positive and comfortable dental experience. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all clinical protocols.
