We are seeking highly motivated, with attention to detail individuals to join our team. Summary or duties: To maintain the highest level of cleanliness and maintenance throughout properties and provide superior customer service to the employees and guests of Na Hoaloha Ekolu. Task Summary includes but not limited to the following items - Sweep and mop an area of 2100 sq. ft. or larger - Rake an area of 2500 square feet or larger - Walk and stand approximately 7 to 8 hours per day - Be able to use a variety of garden tools but not limited to sickles, pruners, shovels etc.) when necessary - Be able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals not limited to (i.e. Clorox, Simple Green, Ajax, Pretty Potty, Latex Gloves, Lemon Oil etc) - Knowledge and experience with the use of a pressure washer, back pack blower, lawn mower, weed eater etc. - Be able to operate a commercial size pressure washer - Be able to operate a back pack blower - Clean restrooms that may include basic repair of clogged lines and drains etc., which also includes blood bourne pathogens - General knowledge of painting skills (paint brushes, painters tape etc.) - Be able to operate wood working power tools when working on projects (ex. tables, chairs, canoe, tiki etc) List of tools includes but not limited to: - Sanders - Drills - Rotary tools - Drill press - Drills In addition: - Able to recognize and address safety hazards immediately - Be exposed to different weather elements - Able to lift at least 50 pounds and bend knees when necessary - Ability to handle a fast changing environment and works well under pressure - Understands and follows written and oral directions - Must attend all mandatory meetings - Displays and appreciates each team members contributions and values each individual member of the maintenance team Required Training: - OSHA (Haz Com Program, Blood Bourne Pathogens, CPR, First Aid etc.) - Must complete passport training and supplements - Valid Driver's License - Non-Essential Functions Participates in cultural and community events.
