ROLE SUMMARY: Assists the Teacher in the implementation of the education program for the birth to 21 years of age. Performs related work as requested. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Attends to the physical needs of the children Adheres to the Health Safety and sanitation policies, and maintains a clean, safe, and hygienic classroom. Assists the teacher in implementing the education program. Performs supportive teaching duties under the direction and supervision of the teacher. Performs additional tasks in a timely fashion Positions, transfers, and feed students as necessary JOB TYPE: Full-time or Per Diem SHIFT: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:15 am - 2:45 pm (30 hours/week), on a 12-month school year. Requirements ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited High School GED Minimum of one year experience working with children in a classroom or childcare environment preferred. Experience working with children with special needs is preferred. Must have the ability to supervise children in a variety of educational settings including, but not limited to, self-contained and integrated.
