You'll be responsible for participating in the design process preparing thorough electrical drawings and details. The work includes engineering design analysis for short circuit fault current, arc flash hazard, photometric anaylsis, voltage drop, load flow analysis, and general research of new technologies as applicable. Requirements The successful candidate will: Learn the primary drafting tools, Revit and AutoCAD, as well as engineering analysis tools such as SKM Power Tools for fault current studies and AGI for photometric analysis. Participate in development of electrical designs from concept through completion of construction. Prepare engineering design calculations, create layouts, and write detailed engineering reports. Prior experience with assessing feasibility/cost and detailed design for excavation and off-site disposal projects, in-situ chemical injections (oxidant and reductant approaches), sub-slab depressurization systems, and other remedial systems is required. The successful candidate will work with junior engineers, geologists and environmental scientists to design and manage field work including groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water sampling, manage and evaluate field and lab data, supervise contractors and drillers, and support the preparation of reports and conduct review of reports developed by junior staff. This individual will be responsible for cost estimating, proposals, invoicing, and client management. Prior experience with environmental investigations and remediation at E-Designation projects is a plus. This position may have some limited fieldwork at times.
