Employee drivers (private transportation company) wanted. Experience with medical clients helpful, we transport clients to and from medical appointments (all clients are ambulatory). Selected individuals must work well others, and enjoy a fast paced environment. Requirements: Must be at least 25 years of age (insurance requirement) Valid California driver license Ability to pass background check Ability to pass drug test A clean driving record (please provide a DMV printout) no more than 1 moving violation or at fault accident in past 3 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 3 years, and no suspensions in the past 5 years. We are an independent contractor for FedEx Ground operating out of Oceanside. We are looking for high energy, qualified, and responsible delivery drivers to join our team. Must be able to start right away and commit to staying for at least 6 months. We provide training and certification! FULL TIME. Must be available 5 days a week. May include weekends. In your role as a FedEx driver, you will report to the FedEx Ground Terminal in Oceanside. Responsibilities include: scanning, delivering/picking up packages, pre and post trip vehicle inspection daily. IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE DRIVER POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: - A valid regular driver's license (Class C) - Legal status to work in the USA - Clean driving record (no DUIs, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, etc. in past 3 years. The role will is responsible for transporting flower arrangements, plants, and other goods from the shop to the surrounding area through use of navigation tools for route optimization, while adhering to the policies and procedures established by Flowers by Coley. They will also be responsible for maintaining good customer relations, as a representative of Flowers by Coley. Essential Functions of the Job: Responsible for proper handling and delivery of fresh flower arrangements, plants and gift items from our shop to recipients’ homes and businesses; Have a general knowledge of San Diego and surrounding area; Responsible for obeying both traffic and parking law Adhere to proper delivery policies and procedures including those related to order confirmation, weather limitations and undeliverable items; Pay close attention to special delivery instructions; Maintain a neat, professional appearance, as a representative of Flowers by Coley; Sustain business by maintaining good customer relations and communication; Keep vehicle clean and report any automotive issues; Available to work additional hours and/or Saturdays during peak holiday seasons and/or as needed; Able to stock shelves, sweep and/or condition flowers during slow times; Requirements: Education: -High School Diploma or GED preferred.
