We are seeking a temporary receptionist, preferably with law firm or similar office experience, to cover on a temporary basis for several weeks in November/December timeframe. Candidates must be fluent in English, have excellent customer service skills, possess strong computer skills, have experience with multi-line phones, and must be able to perform the tasks listed below. • Open/close office by ensuring that common area lights are on/off. • Greeting and directing all visitors and maintenance personnel. • Answer calls on multi-line phone system, checking voice mail if necessary. • Open, scan, email, and distribute all mail. • Maintain office supply inventory and order as necessary. • Stock supply rooms. • Set-up and break-down of conference rooms to include activating zoom meetings and rearranging furniture as needed. • Provide hot/cold beverages to clients and attorneys as needed. • Restock the kitchen as needed. • Load/unload dishwasher. • Water kitchen plants. • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. • Manage Outlook mailbox. Compensation will be based on experience and ranges from $25-$35 per hour. Parking is also provided. Work hours are from 8am-5pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. QUALIFICATIONS JD and admitted to a state bar (MA bar preferred) 5+ years litigation experience Must have strong verbal and writing skills Excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and/or ongoing direction Willingness to perform infrequent travel as and when required Able to perform multiple tasks, work on short lead times and meet tight deadlines Duration: September, 2025 - June, 2026 Schedule: 40 hours/week; 2-3 days/week in office, other days remote.
