Snow Operations Assistant Manager (Chicagoland)

Seasonal Snow Operations Manager Tricon is seeking a Seasonal Operations Manager with extensive knowledge in the Snow and Ice Industry, who will show initiative to monitor, delegate, and follow up to deliver the highest level of service quality possible. Duties include, but are not limited to: · Ability to adjust work schedule during the snow season as needed. · Full Recruitment of seasonal personnel · Oversee all seasonal staff workers to ensure that all contracts are being fulfilled in a satisfactory and timely manner. · Train Regional Supervisors and seasonal personnel to ensure complete training and compliance with all company policies · Conduct Pre-Season site visits · Set up routes to maximize quality and productivity · Assist in creating site maps for Plow, salt and sidewalk crews · Control Labor and equipment expenses · Coordinates with Fleet Department for essential repairs pre-/post and post-season. · Report all accidents/injuries following proper procedures · Complete incident reports within set time frames · Respond to customers and ensure Regional Supervisors address customers’ issues in a timely manner to ensure 100 % customer satisfaction Requirements: · Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team. · Must have knowledge or experience working with Microsoft Office. · Possess effective communication skills. · Must be well organized and be able to manage multiple crews. · Must be able to multi-task. · Previous snow and ice removal experience required 5 years · Available to be on call 24/7 during snow season (Oct-April) Bilingual (Spanish a plus!) Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, pull, and be capable of carrying up to 50lbs. Must be able to work in and be exposed to different weather conditions such as but not limited to freezing temperatures. Must be able to be at work different/long hours of the day during snow events. **This position is Seasonal, and employment will begin Sept/Oct 2025** (Opportunity for Year Round Full Time at the end of Winter) Job Type: Seasonal Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Experience: Snow and Ice removal: 5 years (Required)
