We’re looking for an experienced Alterations Specialist to help serve customers as we prepare for launch. What You’ll Do: - Perform professional alterations and repairs (hemming, tapering, zipper replacement, etc.). - Travel to customer homes or agreed-upon locations. You can set your own travel fee. - Set your own availability, services, and pricing. - Accept the jobs you want and set your own schedule. This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining access control systems, automated gates, and related security equipment. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and service access control systems, intercoms, and gate operators. Run, bend, and install electrical conduit (EMT) and PVC piping. Perform low-voltage wiring, terminations, and system programming. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with gates and operators. Work independently or as part of a crew to complete projects on time. Provide professional and courteous customer service on job sites. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience installing or servicing access control systems (preferred). Ability to bend and install conduit and run PVC pipe. Familiarity with gate operators, low-voltage wiring, and general construction. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
