MRO Project Manager

The Project Manager develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all activities necessary to construct the project safely, within schedule and budget, and to the quality specified. The Project Manager is accountable for directing project teams, providing general administrative and technical leadership for the project, scheduling and facilitating project meetings, maintaining all project records and monitoring correspondence, as well as supervising the close out of a project. The Project Manager works in partnership with the Site Superintendent and/or a Senior Project Manager to lead the construction project and reports to either a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive. Requirements Estimating: Participate in preconstruction activities, including meetings, subcontractor pricing, and scope of work preparation when necessary Review drawings, prepare RFIs, and develop cost-effective solutions Prepare preliminary schedules for preconstruction and construction phases Budgeting: Collaborate with the Estimating team to develop project budgets Analyze subcontractor estimates, jurisdictional approval costs, and prepare soft cost budgets Oversee value-engineering and real-time cost tracking Procurement: Schedule the purchase and delivery of all project related materials, and long lead subcontract items Review of plans and specifications, schedule and budget and award commitments to subcontractors Oversee the setup of the project in Procore including entering the budget, submittal log, commitments, etc. Modify scope of work template based on project specifications for the subcontractor commitments Project Execution: Organize necessary resources, including people, materials, equipment, tools, and time to meet established deadlines and achieve desired results. Complete documentation on defective parts. Essential Duties • Operator molding and other production machines in a safe and efficient manner, notifying the lead or supervisor if there are any problems. Some troubleshooting skills are required. • Visually inspect parts and determine if they meet the acceptable quality limits. Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment. • Package parts as specified to ensure proper and safe handling of the product. • Log all rejects on the Attribute Charts. • Review the operator inspection procedure before taking over any job. • Label all boxes after packaging to ensure proper handling of parts. • Ability to use basic measuring Equipment. • Degate and trim parts as required using secondary machinery to accomplish. • Ability to perform secondary operations such as gluing, welding, trimming, and some assembly. • Ability to use part count scale. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Knowledge of various measuring equipment. • 6 months of consistent and recent work history Required Skills • Strong written/verbal communication • Good decision-making skills • Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities. • Regular and predictable attendance. • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. • Basic math skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Basic PC and internet skills. Emergency service packout company looking for someone to join our Vancouver/Portland team. We specialize in moving, packing, and Inventory services. We are a small, family oriented business. Hours are Monday-Friday typically beginning at 7:30am with a duration of 4-8 hours per day depending on the size of the pack out. We will provide hands on training for the right candidate. We will meet at the warehouse in Vancouver, and provide transportation to and from job site.
