Own timeline and budget outcomes in projects. Work collaboratively with Strategy, Design, Content, Development, and BA/QA departments to deliver best-in-class web projects aligned to project scope, on time and on budget. Develop long-term client relationships by providing personal client service and communication. Clients should always feel informed and know that we have their best interest at heart. Create project plans, schedules, budget and status reports and other deliverables that ensure website development projects are staying on time and on budget. Create appropriate project documentation such as Teamwork tickets to help our internal teams understand what is expected of them, so that they deliver quality work in an efficient manner. Collaborate with management to continually refine and enhance the company’s overall website design and development process. Collaborate with the Strategy Team to integrate new and innovative solutions that respond to internal and client needs. Evaluate new business leads, engage in lead generation, and participate in proposal creation. Represent the company to the larger web and marketing communities by occasionally engaging in conferences and networking opportunities. Requirements We don't necessarily care how long you've been managing projects; more important is the passion and talent you bring to the table. With that said, it would be nice if you have the following experience: 7+ years experience managing complex comprehensive, integrated client projects. Preferably in an agency or client-facing environment. Experience with content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress or Sitecore. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how it applies to custom CMS builds. Experience with industry tools such as Teamwork, Smartsheet, Excel or other project management systems that are used to create schedules, budgets, status reports and more. Experience in contract and budget management. Experience writing functional and technical requirements. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The Assistant Project Manager leads work alongside our Project Operations and Field Management to foster great client relationships, develop our employees, and oversee the safe construction of high quality, profitable, and on schedule projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead by example in adherence to Quality and Safety Programs Communicate productively with clients’ regarding overall project status updates as needed with assistance from PM Comfortable leading Internal, Client and Subcontractor meetings, providing meeting minutes and follow ups as needed Familiarize themselves with all requirements and exhibits of the EPC contracts Maintain internal trackers for quantity and production tracking Assist PM with all necessary finance functions such as: client billings, project forecasting, risk analysis, vendor/subcontractor payments, change management, and self perform analysis. Participate in CPM schedule reviews and maintain schedules to ensure timely completion of all milestones. Collaborate with project controls to identify critical paths, flag delays, and adjust resources. Assist PM in procurement process, scoping, and contracting of subcontractors and vendors. Responsible for management of subcontractors and vendors, including but not limited to; contract management, change management, notifications regarding Quality or EHS deficiencies and weekly subcontractor meetings. I. SUMMARY: Operates heavy equipment (e.g. front-end loader, backhoe, skid-steer, blending equipment) to process Bloom into marketable biosolids products. Makes deliveries of products and retrieves feedstock as needed. Monitors and adjusts general housekeeping in blending and curing facilities. II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Operates heavy equipment, including front-end loader, backhoe, skid-steer, windrow turner, blending equipment, etc. to process biosolids into marketable Bloom products. • Makes deliveries of products and retrieves feedstock as needed in DC Water pickup trucks, dump trucks, and tractor trailers. Weighs loads on plant scales for tracking purposes as directed. • Monitor the solids production and Bloom production needs. • Receives and ensures proper storage of feedstock shipments. • Collects product samples as needed. • Records daily activity and operating conditions. Responsible for tracking feedstock and product storage. • Performs route inspections of manned and unmanned facilities and equipment • Monitors and adjusts greenhouse operating conditions, including watering, temperature, air flow and plant growth. • Operates overhead crane in biosolids loading facility as needed. • Responsible for cleaning and general housekeeping in blending and curing facilities. • Operates a variety of Authority vehicles and equipment including front-end loader, backhoe, skidsteer, blending equipment, pickup truck, etc. as an essential function of the position. Maintains vehicles and/or equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Reports any operating deficiencies to the appropriate Authority personnel. • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned at the discretion of the immediate supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Key Working Relationships: Interacts with employees within the Authority, vendors of equipment and services, and representatives of private industry. III. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable amounts of training are provided. • High school Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate and four (4) years of progressive experience that involves the operation of gasoline, diesel, or other powered engine equipment designed for excavation, lifting, and hauling. • Must possess and maintain current a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License, Commercial Driver’s License, Class A with air brakes endorsement, and a DC Operating Engineer’s License, Class 7B. • Must have a crane operator license • Must have a CDL • Knowledge of basic mechanical repairs. Skilled in the use of a variety of tools and/or equipment. Ability to perform a variety of manual dexterity tasks. • Skilled in communicating orally and interacting with a wide range of individuals. • Experience operating cranes is preferred. • Ensure Bloom is moved out of bunkers to avoid solids train shutdowns. • Ensure that the TDPS shaft is cleared as necessary to ensure functionality of the Clean Rivers system IV.
