Hi. I'm a native Ithacan who spent many years as a professional guitarist, composer, and teacher in LA. I teach you how to play the guitar or uke whether you're a beginner or more advanced. I specialize in authentic flamenco, classical, Latin American, and fingerpicking styles but can also teach you basic rock and blues. My musical mentors are world renowned musicians whom you will find on Youtube: Juan Serrano (flamenco guitar), Jaime Torres (charango), Hamza el Din (oud), and Benny Carter (jazz). My music can be heard on all major streaming services and is played every day worldwide. I've taught many men, women, and children to play guitar in a teaching career extending over 40 years, including 5 years of lessons for the City of Claremont, CA and bilingual instruction at Candelas Guitars in East LA, where the instruments are made for mariachis. I now do private instruction in your home for a $40 for a 45 minute lesson. You can take as many or as few as you like.
