Description

Pressure Media is a cannabis-focused content company based in Washington, D.C. We’re not just another production outfit—we’re building a media hub that documents the real culture around cannabis: the people, the businesses, the lifestyle, and the movement. Our vision is to give cannabis the same spotlight as music, fashion, or sports. That means authentic storytelling, clean visuals, and a professional team that moves with both hustle and heart. We’re hiring two Cameramen/Videographers to join our founding production crew. This isn’t just a gig—it’s an opportunity to build with us from the ground up. You’ll be behind the camera capturing everything from sit-down interviews and podcasts to event coverage, lifestyle shoots, and branded visuals for cannabis businesses. Responsibilities: - Film interviews, podcasts, lifestyle shoots, and event coverage - Handle lighting setups and framing for consistent, professional visuals - Work with audio + production crew to capture clean footage - Organize and transfer footage after every shoot - Adjust style depending on project (cinematic, documentary, or run-and-gun) - Communicate closely with the editor for smooth post-production - Stay flexible—some shoots are planned, others may pop up last minute What We’re Looking For: - Experience in videography (lifestyle, event, or documentary work preferred) - Own/have access to pro-level gear (DSLR/mirrorless/cinema cameras) - Strong eye for framing, lighting, and detail - Reliable, on-time, professional attitude - Team player who wants to grow with the brand Compensation: - $7,500 per month (full-time role) How to Apply: - Your name + contact info - A short intro (keep it real, no formal cover letter needed) - Links to your work/portfolio (IG, YouTube, website, or raw footage) - Gear list (if you own equipment) Location: Washington, D.C. – DMV area
