Looking for a student or person with some knowledge of the entertainment/music industry who is interested in the music business. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00am - 5:00pm, but can be done as a part time job, for school credit or experience. Or can be done remotely. Responsibilities: -Work with Paint Department Manager to execute prep/finish design concepts into scenic elements. -Execute prep/painting techniques on various materials, including wood, fabric, foam, acrylics, and metal, ensuring high-quality finishes. -Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols during construction painting tasks. -Assist in fabrication processes as needed for set installations. -Participate in moving set pieces as needed between departments; set construction, to support overall production needs. -Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all materials are properly stored after use. Skills: -Experience in prep/finish/paint techniques in fabrication. -Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during set construction and installation processes. -Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
