Smart Movers Club / Business Development Consulting Group is seeking a Bid & RFP Coordinator to support one of our Maryland clients MUC, — a licensed, insured, full-service contractor providing roofing, renovation, and property services statewide. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, experienced professional who can manage and submit bids, RFQs, and RFPs for construction projects across Maryland counties, cities, and state agencies. You’ll handle everything from bid discovery and tracking to document preparation and submission, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Responsibilities: -Monitor Maryland bid and procurement portals daily (eMMA, county bid boards, etc.). -Identify and track qualified construction opportunities. -Organize bid documents, deadlines, and required attachments. -Prepare and submit bids electronically. -Keep a live tracker of submissions, responses, and results. -Coordinate with internal team for pricing, insurance, and supporting docs. -Follow up on submitted bids and update status reports. Requirements: -Experience managing public bids, RFPs, or government contracts. -Familiarity with Maryland procurement systems (eMaryland Marketplace Advantage, county portals, etc.). -Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines. -Excellent written communication and document management skills. -Ability to work independently, remotely, and report progress clearly. -Construction or contractor industry experience a plus. Compensation: Hourly (flexible based on experience) OR monthly retainer with performance bonuses for awarded bids. Remote work; flexible hours.
