Maintenance Supervisor (NOLA)

We are seeking full-time, professional, and customer service-driven individuals to join our Dock Staff team at our Boat Club location in Coconut Grove. Availability on weekends and weekdays is required. Applicants must be dependable and possess their own transportation. While knowledge of local waterways is preferred, it is not mandatory. Marine mechanical knowledge is a plus. Qualifications: -MUST be able to operate boats under 30' -Outstanding customer service skills -Strong time management and organizational abilities -Clear and effective communication with team members, club owners, and members -Keen attention to detail -Ability to foster positive relationships with both team members and customers - MUST work weekends - Florida Boaters License Required Key Responsibilities: -Clean and maintain the club's fleet of boats to the highest standards -Confirm reservations with members over the phone -Assist members and their guests with boarding and disembarking boats, including managing boating supplies, fishing gear, coolers, etc. -Support members with docking upon departure and upon return to the dock -Operate boats up to 30’ in and out of slips -Utilize the online reservation system to log engine hours, fuel usage, and safety equipment -Inspect boats before and after each member's use to ensure no damage has occurred -Coordinate any necessary maintenance or repairs with the operations team or external vendors Compensation: Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00, PLUS daily cash gratuities from members. We are seeking a self-starter, problem-solver, and experienced Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day operations at a busy commercial property. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and able to manage a wide range of maintenance tasks and must be able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative. Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (weekends when needed) Must be flexible to stay late, work different days if needed, and respond to emergency calls Job Responsibilities: -Electrical and plumbing repairs -Basic HVAC maintenance (Cooling Tower knowledge a plus) -Flooring, painting, drywall repair, and make-ready prep -Lock changes, basic landscaping, cleaning, and janitorial tasks -Standard carpet cleaning and floor treatment -Preventive maintenance & accurate tracking of service tasks -Knowledge of domestic pumps, mechanical, and life safety equipment strongly preferred -Other duties as assigned Qualifications -2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician (Commercial, Residential, or similar environment) -Strong customer service and communication skills **Reliable transportation required** Bilingual a plus (not required) Certifications/Licenses are not required but will be considered a plus Physical Requirements: -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely -Work in standing, crouching, or climbing positions as needed -Comfort working at heights with proper safety equipment **Flexibility to work weekends and respond to emergencies when required** The Right Candidate Is: -Skilled in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing -Detail-oriented, responsible, and a problem-solver -Able to take initiative under supervision without constant direction
