What You'll Need: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • 6 months+ of work experience in a customer service/or sales experience in a retail environment. • Basic knowledge or experience using computers and mobile phones. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred in some areas. • High school diploma/GED. • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor. Must be able to move and/or lift up to 15 pounds. Retail employees are regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to stand, walk, and use their hands and fingers to handle objects, feel, and operate a computer. Compensation: $12.50-$13.00 per hour DOE. The base pay does not factor in an aggressive commission program when goals and objectives are met. The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering a delightful customer experience within our retail stores. This individual will contribute to the formulation of a robust store strategy, aligning the team with our corporate values and mission. In addition to overseeing operational tasks such as opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising, the ASM will serve as a key collaborator in accomplishing store objectives and nurturing team development. Capture and manage client information comprehensively, including phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses. • Demonstrate adept problem-solving skills by quickly identifying customer needs and addressing objections, if raised. Showcase a thorough understanding of store merchandise, pricing models, and familiarity with the sales floor and stockroom layout. Ensure the store maintains high standards of housekeeping and visual merchandising. • Utilize proficiency in various computer systems and applications, including POS, CRM systems, and inventory management tools. Enforce the store's inventory security measures by adhering to the company’s loss prevention program. Adhere to all operational policies and procedures outlined by the store. Assist the Store Manager in coaching and mentoring employees to enhance their individual and team performance. Collaborate with the Store Manager in the recruitment and interviewing process for new employees, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Requirements Prior retail management experience, ideally with 1+ years in Assistant Manager responsibilities. A results-oriented individual with a strong sales focus, capable of leading and coaching team members towards success. Possess a positive, high-energy, friendly, and engaging personality; willingness to initiate customer interactions and guide them through the store. Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with customers and corporate partners. Proficient with technology, including the ability to operate retail POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, etc. Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and comfortable using ladders or stairs. Demonstrated proficiency in coaching and mentoring employees, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Job Duties: Qualifications being sought include: • Replacing bottle trailers from the processing plant. • Check to make sure you have the proper forms to fill out as you are unloading. • Make sure all paperwork is filled out correctly. • Document trailer numbers, time started and time finished, document the trailer temp, types of product you are unloading, and code dates. • Put any and all mixed pallets away in the spots where the product belongs. • Communicate with the replenisher on what can be brought up next and what trailers can be moved. • Bring trucks to the upper dock for loading and rotate as needed • Replenish products as needed to keep up with the demands of the box. • Must be able to communicate if problems arise. • Good safety record. • Ability to move vehicles safely and slowly, checking all connections prior to moving. • Trailer audits • Refueling of trailers when needed. • Must be flexible if needed to stay and help load some later routes. • Complete the daily trailer list, document what product is in what trailers along with code dates and pallet counts. • Class A/B CDL license is preferred. • Other duties as needed.
