Position Summary: This role will play a critical part in the successful implementation of our new EHR system. Post-implementation, the position will be responsible for: • Preparing and submitting claims to our billing company. • Managing medical accounts receivable. • Navigating complex prior authorization systems, particularly for VA, Tricare, and Aetna. • Handling non-network authorizations and approvals for medical equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors during the EHR migration and implementation process. • Ensure accurate and timely claim preparation and submission. • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable. • Confidently manage prior authorization workflows, including documentation and communication with payers. • Maintain compliance with payer-specific requirements and regulations. • Serve as a subject matter expert on VA/Tricare billing and authorization processes.
