The Maintenance Supervisor reports to a Property Manager and works to ensure apartment homes and facilities for an assigned apartment community are in good working order and maintained to standards for MAA.  Primary responsibilities include coordinating the maintenance team to ensure the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment units; prompt and courteous responses to service requests; an adequate supply of market ready apartments to meet leasing demand; property appearance which meets or exceeds standards.  The Maintenance Supervisor assists with hiring, training, and developing assigned maintenance staff which may include painters and/or landscaping staff.  Qualifications • High school diploma/GED and three to five years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair required, or an equivalent combination of experience and education • HVAC experience required • EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required • Valid driver’s license from the state of residence required • One to three years of Supervisory experience preferred MAA recognizes that talented people are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits and outstanding advancement opportunities. Mobile Mechanic Position Dave’s Tree Service is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and service on diesel and gas powered equipment, heavy and light trucks, and small engines to maintain company standards for safe and productive operations. Welding and fabrication experience is a must. This PART-TIME position is 10-15 hours per week, with most hours logged on Saturdays. Principal Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on diesel and gasoline vehicles, aerial lifts, excavator, loader, and other vehicles to maximize safe and productive operations. Inspects truck and/or heavy equipment for condition, operation, and fluid levels. Identifies and designates problems with equipment. Checks, fills, and changes appropriate fluids for all vehicle parts including engine, transmission, differentials, final drives, pump drives and hubs. Greases, oils, and lubricates components during preventive maintenance service. Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service. Maintains and/or changes air, oil, coolant, and fuel filters. Performs cooling systems maintenance. Checks safety equipment on trucks and (or) equipment. Inspects tires as needed Completes paperwork associated with preventive maintenance services and repairing equipment, documenting parts usage and accounting for applied times Inventory control Drives truck and (or) equipment in and out of repair area. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Power washes equipment as is necessary. Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job. Requirements: 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair - Required Welding experience - Required Basic to advanced computer skills - Required Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record - Required Mechanical Trade School certificate/degree - Preferred Strong attention to detail, communications, and commitment to safety protocols.
