General Labor – Kitting Department Location: Vernon CA Pay Rate: $17.87 Schedule: Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) Job Summary: We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Associates to join our Kitting Department. This role is responsible for assembling, organizing, and packaging various product components into kits according to specific instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment and pays close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and package product kits according to work orders, instructions, or specifications. Verify that all components are present, labeled correctly, and meet quality requirements. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company and safety policies. Count, sort, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy before and after assembly. Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Report any missing materials, defects, or discrepancies to the lead or supervisor. Operate basic production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with labeling, sealing, and preparing finished kits for shipment or storage. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance guidelines. Qualifications: Previous experience in kitting, packaging, assembly, or production preferred. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Basic math and counting skills. Another Road to Safety Program (ARS) is an early intervention and prevention program offered through the Prevention and Intake Division of the Alameda County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS or CFS). The strength of the ARS Program is our staff. Our Family Support Specialists are clinically inclined and provide some personal experience successfully navigating multi-systems within the Alameda County. Family Support Specialist utilize their clinical expertise to engage families while using a family-centered, early intervention and prevention approach. The Family Support Specialist will work closely with families who are at risk of child abuse and neglect in Alameda County. The Family Support Specialist will work closely with families to increase involvement, setting goals, coaching family members through the process, and supporting them in achieving the set goals.
