You’ll be helping adults with disabilities grow their independence – like helping them budget, cook, job search, explore the community, or build new routines. What it is NOT: This is not a medical or hands-on caregiving role. You won’t be assisting with toileting, bathing, feeding, or physical care tasks. Your Day-to-Day Might Include: - Life Coach – Help clients reach personal goals, whether it’s applying for jobs, learning to cook, or managing their money. - Hype Squad Energy – Celebrate their wins and help troubleshoot challenges. - Field Guide to the Real World – Support clients during grocery runs, public transit, community events, etc. - Safety & Self-Advocacy – Teach clients how to stay safe, handle emergencies, and speak up for themselves. - Record Keeper – Keep notes on progress and share updates with the team. - Connector – Build relationships with families, social workers, and the broader support network.
