Responsibilities: Design, sell & Install and service engineered fire and burglar alarm systems, access control system, CCTV, Intercom and related electronic systems, able to work on blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans. We are a small firm specializing in the fabrication, finishing, installation & restoration of historic & traditional architectural woodwork. We are looking for woodworkers with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. Our shop is in Sunnyside, Queens. Our site work tends to be mainly in the 5 boroughs, but we do a significant amount of work out of the city as well.
 We work on wood windows & doors, cornices, staircases, and other architectural woodwork. We work at public & private buildings. Our projects range from staircase and handrail installation to the installation & servicing of traditional wood windows. Being focused on restoration, our work tends to be eclectic and requires flexibility. Each staff member is engaged in a variety of tasks both on-site & in the shop. We occasionally work on brownstone scaffolds so a comfort with heights is helpful. We often work in sensitive environments such as museums, public spaces & religious buildings. Thoughtful behavior and proper inter-personal skills are essential. We maintain a family friendly, cooperative atmosphere. Our goal is to provide a healthy, safe and enjoyable work experience.
