Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires some labor on job sites. Must be able to travel for extended periods on occasion. Responsibilities - Safety: Ensure that all workers follow safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and are aware of potential hazards Personnel: Manage construction workers, including selecting, training, and scheduling Project management: Oversee progress, including scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring Quality: Inspect work to ensure it meets project specifications Budget: Monitor project expenditures and identify variances Communication: Communicate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and architects Documentation: Maintain records of project activities, including daily reports and progress photos Compliance: Ensure that the project complies with building codes and regulations Other duties: Resolve problems and conflicts, Escalate issues to project managers when necessary, Contribute to strategic plans, and Identify improvements.
