Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing onsite plumbing instillations in a commercial construction environment. Must be able to communicate well with other trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools. Conduct field service work to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Utilize mechanical knowledge to assess plumbing system functionality and perform necessary maintenance. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for the installation of plumbing equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to plumbing tasks. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Previous experience as a foreman. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid commercial driving license may be required depending on job assignments.
