Job Summary: The IPM Assistant will play a critical role in maintaining plant health through scouting, foliar sprays, root drenches and other IPM-related tasks. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently. Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm, includes holidays as needed unless PTO is approved. Key Responsibilities: Scout plants for signs of stress, pests and disease. Apply foliar sprays and root drenches accurately and safely. Wear full PPE for extended periods while performing tasks. Perform tasks at varying heights, including standing, bending and kneeling. Lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely. Participate in lift training and follow all safety protocols. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or cannabis cultivation preferred but not required. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for long periods of time. Strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Ability to follow instruction and safety protocols closely. Comfortable wearing full PPE during shifts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bulk of the job is spent standing or walking, bending to the ground and reaching overhead, pulling carts on 4 wheel castors weighing over 50 lbs. 2.Lifting a minimum of 25 lbs. 3. This role primarily involves cleaning and maintaining totes, keeping the warehouse organized, and assisting drivers on collection routes when needed. Schedule Typical schedule is 15 to 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm. Compensation $18.00 per hour Responsibilities Wash and sanitize 32- and 64-gallon compost totes.
