We're looking to hire several HOST's/Take-Outs for our Cracker's and Co. Cafe, located at 1325 N. Greenfield Rd. Mesa. That's the north east corner of Greenfield and Brown rd., Mesa Az. You're a critical part of the restaurant as you establish the "First Impression" of the restaurant, control the flow of business and ensure all guest's receive great service. Crackers Cafe is a locally owned group of family style, full-service sit-down restaurants. It's a well-established company, being in business over 41 years with a very a large number of loyal, repeat and wonderful customers. We serve breakfast and lunch only, so there is NO late nights. Usually everyone is out of the building by around 3pm. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have FULL TIME AVAILABLITY as we're open seven days a week and we prefer prior restaurant host experience BUT will consider training the right person without experience. Who's the right person? The "right" person is someone 18 years of age or over, has FULL TIME AVAILABLITY, with a natural warm personality, smiling and outgoing, who sincerely loves working with people. This is a fun job if you sincerely love working with people and comfortable in crowds. In this job, switching between hosting to take-outs makes your day go by fast and, although this generally not considered a tipped job, it does have a potential to earn some tips. The more you treat your guests with a genuine smile, are able to help thru excellent menu knowledge and build relations, know their names and preferences , the more they will love you and the better chances of getting tipped. The Racquet Club is seeking someone to assist with our community events. At The Racquet Club, we have many fun social events during the fall to spring season. The candidate for this position will help the Activity Coordinator with events to set up, decorate, food prep, greet guests, serve and clean up, as well as office duties when needed. Daytime, early evening and some weekend events are scheduled annually. Events include Tuesday movie nights, monthly parties, tennis tournament parties, lunches, casual and elegant dinners, an Afternoon Tea, an Art Show, pizza parties, Bbq’s and more.
