Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Job description: About us BCM Builders DBA as Rainbow Restoration is looking for our next LEAD tech. Here is a quick overview of what we do. If a house suffers a water leak, we go in and clean it up. If a house gets smoked out or has fire damage, we come in and clean it up. If the sewer line breaks or backs up we come in and clean it up. Benefits: 401K match after three months $25-$40 depending on experience/certs Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm (occasional Saturdays) Overtime opportunities available The qualifications of a Water Restoration Technician includes: Demolition experience a plus Remodeling experience a plus but not required IICRC Certificates (obtained or willing to while employed) WRT Certificates (obtained or willing to while employed) ASD Certificates (obtained or willing to while employed) Certification in inspection cleaning and restoration. Excellent working knowledge of hand and power tools. Physical fitness. Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Social awareness The responsibilities of a Water Restoration Technician includes: Assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved. General labor duties Cleaning and storing damaged properties until they can be returned to the home. Removing damaged materials, such as wallboards, lumber, and carpets. Handling any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold. Sanitizing structural features that can be saved. Answering complaints, explaining job specifications, and performing other customer service duties. Treating each homeowner as if they are the only customer you have Cleanliness of shop, work van, all equipment and tools required Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment. The Maintenance Officer is a full-time contract position responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks to support the daily operations of the College’s facilities. This role requires broad technical knowledge and hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Maintenance Officer ensures that campus buildings, classrooms, clinic areas, and grounds are safe, functional, and well maintained in support of the College’s mission. This is a contract position and the candidate must provide their own tools as needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on College facilities, including classrooms, offices, clinic spaces, and common areas. Conduct simple repairs in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and emergency response. Assist with campus improvement projects such as building renovations, furniture assembly, and minor construction. Monitor and maintain building systems, including lighting, HVAC, water supply, and drainage. Perform inspections to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs. Respond promptly to work orders and service requests submitted by College faculty administrators. Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
