Pleasant, Utah. _________________________________________________________________________ As a Tutor on the Oxbow team, you will coordinate with our Academic Director and provide one-on-one academic support to your students. Your help in cultivating a safe, supportive, and supervised environment for your students is critical to their academic progress and the healing process. Oxbow Academy provides very specialized treatment. We are often the last hope to families in crisis who don't know where to turn. Students at Oxbow Academy have broken sexual boundaries. These issues are often misunderstood and result in debilitating anxiety and shame. Our goal is to provide hope where it has been lost, rebuild trust where it has been broken, and help these young men and their families move forward. As our Tutor, you provide hope to families. Their sons are finally safe. Healing can finally begin. You will gain experience in the behavioral and mental health fields and working with adolescents. The relationships our students form with their staff are central to the healing process. Often the relationships formed with Tutors are the most meaningful to our students and central to deep and lasting change. They create the safety needed to take the first step forward.
