(ODC) is a family-owned and operated engineering, architectural, and land surveying firm located in Oakdale, CA. Established in 1995, ODC provides a wide range of services including planning, civil engineering, architecture, sculpture design, and land surveying for diverse development projects in numerous states across the nation. ODC also has a design studio for modeling and sculpture as a creative outlet (sometimes you just want to play). Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect at Owens Design Consultants, Inc. The Architect will be responsible for architectural design. In addition, the architect will be involved in project management and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Partnership opportunities for the right person. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited university • 5-10 years of experience in architectural firms • Architecture License, or the ability to attain in a short period a must. • Excellent spatial and design sense • Background in project (and personnel) management • Experience in detailing and material/finish specification in all types of construction (I, II, V, etc.), preferably including design on educational, high-end hospitality, multi-family, custom residential, and commercial projects • Familiarity with local permitting processes • Prior work preparing complete architectural drawing sets (from presentation through construction details) • Experience coordinating with consultants and engineers • Strong capabilities in Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, 3D modeling, and Photoshop skills, etc. • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and management skills Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial: • Knowledge of sustainable design principles • Understanding of building codes and regulations • Should be a U.S. Citizen or have proper paperwork to work in the U.S. • Driver’s Licenses Benefits • Project Based Bonuses • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance • Retirement Savings Account • Paid Vacation & Sick Leave • Partnership opportunity for the right person • Salary based on experience $70,000-$100,000
