Automotive technicians are in high demand and can earn well over $100K. We are looking for an experienced heavy line technician. Automotive repair experience is required but transmission experience is not. You'll learn the business from the ground up, working on diagnostic, remove and replace transmissions and perform other repairs as needed. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to work with a master technician to learn the inner workings of automotive transmissions and repairs. We offer great starting pay for the right experience, medical insurance, a 5 day work week Monday - Friday: NO WEEKENDS, and paid vacation up to 3 weeks. Tools required and at least one ASE Certification preferred, but not required. Great opportunity for an experienced lube tech who wants more. Painter Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks - Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces - Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers to apply paint or other finishes - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas - Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers - Sand and/or scrape off old paint or loose debris from surfaces - Spray custom finishes (lacquer, paint, and custom coatings) - Cleanup work areas and remove materials Frequent lifting and carrying painting equipment, occasional lifting up to 65 lbs. paint cans, pulling, standing, walking, reaching, sitting, kneeling, occasional crawling and reclining, frequent climbing, balancing, pushing, occasional arm rotation, frequent manual and finger dexterity. Hearing warning signals and reading and comprehending safety instructions. Must be able to maintain general safety awareness and avoid hazards commonly present in employee’s work area. Required Qualifications: Must participate in and pass background screening and employment verification. Must keep a clean and professional work area and appearance. Reliable transportation to and from work is required. Two to five years of experience with a reputable painting company or possession of a painting certification from an accredited institution preferred. Must have knowledge of surface preparation procedures, proper use and mixing of paints. Must have the ability to read and understand the Product Data Sheet. Must have the ability to identify paint application requirements and equipment needed for coating application. Must be able to operate high-reach equipment. Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and work any shift. Must be able to access and move around safely; must have the ability to observe differences in color. Must comprehend written and verbal instructions and hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations, and warnings.
