Position Summary
responsible for the general upkeep and repair of the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks, from routine preventative maintenance to emergency repairs.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Inspect and diagnose problems with equipment and facilities, determining the most effective solutions.
Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Perform carpentry tasks, including repairing furniture, doors, and wooden structures.
Manage groundskeeping duties, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and clearing debris.
Respond to maintenance requests, prioritizing and managing multiple repair projects.
Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in maintenance or a similar role.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and maintenance instructions.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, and various maintenance equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve new or complex issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Physical stamina, including the ability to lift, carry, climb, and stand for extended periods.
