We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our Adult Day Health. As a DSP, you will assist clients with daily living activities, encourage independence, and help them lead fulfilling lives within their communities. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to individuals at our day program and community settings. Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ICP changes and toileting. Support individuals feeding. Promote independence through skill-building activities, including communication, transportation, and community integration. Document care provided, progress toward goals, and incidents according to agency policies and procedures. Implement individual service plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs). Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals served. Collaborate with families, guardians, case managers, and other professionals as needed. Attend required training and staff meetings. Work Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts available. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. There are multiple opportunities to increase the hourly rate. All nurses are eligible for a $1 shift differential for overnights and a $1 shift differential for weekends (Saturday & Sunday). All part-time and full-time nurses accumulate PTO, based on the number of hours worked (per year). All part-time and full-time nurses are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan. New graduates will be considered, although preference will be given to candidates with more years of clinical work experience. Excellent team skills and communication abilities are mandatory.
