RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Developer will be a key member of the team helping lead greenfield assets through the development cycle (from site acquisition through LNTP). Key responsibilities include:  Lead all phases of project development from site acquisition, through interconnection, and permitting. Develop project budgets, timelines, and appropriate stage-gates - then manage performance to those levels. Provide regular updates and make strategic recommendations to senior executives, which includes raising both concerns and opportunities for the development portfolio. Manage environmental / site due diligence and evaluate the findings. This includes hiring consultants to conduct Phase I ESAs, wetlands delineations, title reports, surveys, geotechnical reports, cultural & historical resource reports, and any other necessary deliverables for site development. Oversee local zoning and permitting process, with assistance from consultants and internal team. This includes serving as a liaison with the local AHJ and community to present the project, address concerns, and obtain zoning approvals.  Work closely with interconnection team to diligently guide projects through utility interconnection process and to quickly identify good or bad study results.  Requirements 2 – 5 years of experience in renewable energy development, particularly in solar and/or battery storage projects. A breadth of experience in all aspects of greenfield project development from site acquisition through LNTP. We seek applicants with a deep and detailed understanding of all elements that create a successful project. Successful track record of managing cross-functional teams and/or third-party consultants throughout development life-cycle. Extremely strong attention to detail. Solid financial acumen, with ability to manage project budgets and understand key project valuation drivers. Good familiarity with Excel required. May require extended hours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is in the range of $100,000 to $150,000 a year plus performance bonuses; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and SolRiver reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, SolRiver or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
