King Marine Canvas is actively seeking professional canvas and upholstery technicians. We're an established custom canvas and upholstery shop of 40+ years with a large customer base in the Greater Seattle / Puget Sound area. We are family owned and family oriented. We're looking for an individual who is committed to quality, dependability, and working within a team. Professional experience is preferred. Shop Location: Interbay / Magnolia Job Type / Schedule: Full-Time position. Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available. Salary / Benefits: Pay based upon experience and performance. Medical, Vacation and Bonus opportunities available. *** $500 Retention Bonus after 90 days *** Qualifications / Responsibilities: • Professional Canvas or Upholstery experience is preferred • Must be able to manufacture raw goods into finished products, ready for install or delivery • Attention to detail and precise measurements are required • Experience with building furniture or reupholstery is a plus • Ability to use hand tools as well as operate power tools • Professional experience with creating custom patterns or templates is a plus • Experience with garment alterations or tailoring is a plus • Must be able to organize workflow, meet customer needs and production deadlines • Ability to prioritize orders as the shop schedule changes • Support our field technicians on the job and in the warehouse • Professional experience with installation and on-site delivery Hiring Process: Openings available immediately for in-person interviews.
