Compensation: $25/hr (paid electronically via PayPal or Venmo) Employment type: Contract An Oregon law firm is seeking 14 participants to provide feedback on issues in a medical malpractice case going to trial. This will be conducted via ZOOM on Friday, October 10, 2025 -- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The pay is $25 an hour. Your full participation and undivided attention is a requirement for payment. All backgrounds are encouraged to apply. If selected to participate, you will receive additional information via email. To apply: Go to https://forms.office.com/r/HD5J0Xs18E and complete the questionnaire by Wednesday, October 8th at 1:00 p.m. Applicants will be contacted via email starting on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m., and no later than Thursday, October 9th at 5:00 p.m., if selected. If selected, applicants will be directed to a complete a confidentiality agreement prior to being provided video access to the focus group. Please know that if selected, your firm commitment is requested. We respect your time and value your contribution and ask the same in return. Please only apply if you can commit.   All information is kept completely confidential. Our law firm takes confidentiality seriously and we will protect your information. Your information is never sold or given to third parties. Any information that is shared with our clients is done so without your personal identifiers (name, phone, email, employer). This protects not only the participant, but the integrity and results of the focus group as well.   Requirements: Must have access to a smart phone or computer for the entire duration of the focus group. Must have PayPal or Venmo account for payment. Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Paid Research Study for Methamphetamine Users (CU Anschutz Medical Campus)
The study is for adults with moderate or severe methamphetamine use disorder who are interested in stopping or cutting down their use of methamphetamines. eIRB #18483 **Note: We are only recruiting participants who are CURRENTLY 21-40 years old. If you are older than 40, please do not apply** We are conducting a study on neural activity following substance use. To participate, you must be right-handed, have used cigarettes and/or used e-cigarettes (e.g., a Juul or other nicotine vape) on a nondaily basis in the past month, and have no metal in your body. Evening / weekend scheduling and assistance with transportation are available. If eligible based on a 20 minute pre-screening and 1 hour interview, participation will include two 5-6 hour visits to the lab, and 2 follow-up phone interviews. You may earn up to $400 for full completion of all study components. Each visit will involve: • Tests and questionnaires to measure thinking abilities and decision making • An MRI at the OHSU Advanced Imaging Research Center • Before each MRI scan, you will consume a legal, non-prescription substance at a dosage proven safe for human consumption.
